All seven on this page play free in your browser, and they range from properly tense to not scary at all. Below is what each one is really like, how scared you should expect to be and what to know before you start.
What makes a horror game funny?
The joke usually comes from taking something serious about horror and putting it somewhere silly. A parody borrows a famous format, like the security-camera night shift, and swaps in an absurd threat. A meme game takes a character everyone already laughs at and makes it the thing hunting you. A horror comedy keeps a genuinely awful premise, say a date with a cannibal, and lets the characters react to it like real, awkward people.
That mix is why funny horror games are easy to start and hard to put down. You get the tension of a real scare, then a laugh that lets the pressure out, then the tension again. Some of these lean hard on one side, so the notes below are honest about which.

What playing funny horror games feels like
These seven funny horror games get their laughs in very different ways. Here’s what each one is built on.
Parodies that still bite: Five Nights At Diddy’s and Tung Sahur Horror
Five Nights At Diddy’s spoofs the classic night-watch game. You’re hired to watch a house from midnight to 6 AM, flip between cameras, shut the left and right doors and crawl under the table when a Diddy gets into the office, all while your power drains. The joke is obvious, but slow reactions still end the run with a jumpscare. Tung Sahur Horror turns the Italian Brainrot meme “Tung Tung Tung Sahur” into a tall, silent drummer with dead eyes. The pitch is funny; the game isn’t. It’s five nights of quiet stealth in a locked house, and the joke disappears the first time you see him.

Scared and laughing: You Are Hamster and I Can Smell You From Here
In You Are Hamster you’re a pet hamster who spots something in the bedroom that your owner can’t see. You eat, run on your wheel and sleep while stranger and stranger things happen outside the cage. It takes about ten minutes, mixes eerie figures and sudden scares with comic physical violence, and lets you record a short warning at one point if you want to. I Can Smell You From Here is a first date with Idimya, who eats humans, while your character worries about the price of dinner.
No horror at all: Sophie’s Date Night With Harlequin
Sophie’s Date Night With Harlequin is a fan parody of The Freak Circus, written as a birthday gift. Harlequin keeps the charm and loses every bit of menace, and Sophie turns up in a Harley Quinn inspired outfit and commits to the bit. There’s no threat anywhere in it, only adult jokes, several endings and one ending openly designed as ragebait. It sits with the funny horror games because it’s a joke about a horror dating sim, not because it will scare you.

Not really horror: Anomalous Coffee Machine 2 and BloodMoney 2
Two of our funny horror games only touch horror at the edges. Anomalous Coffee Machine 2 is a text experiment: type any word, and a coffee machine brews it into a drink with a taste and an effect on you. “Void” stops your heart for a moment; “tea” feels like being told to calm down. There’s no goal or score, just curiosity and a slow drift into the strange. BloodMoney 2 is a dark-comedy life sim where the Human Expenditure Program manages Harvey Harvington’s work, sleep, money and health, and every profitable choice costs him something.

How scary are they, really?
Funny horror games range from tense to not scary at all, so here are all seven, from the most frightening down:
- Tung Sahur Horror looks like a meme and plays like real stealth horror, getting harder every night.
- Five Nights At Diddy’s is a joke with real pressure: power runs out, Golden Diddy interrupts your routine and a mistake ends in a jumpscare.
- You Are Hamster has sudden scares and eerie figures, seen from a hamster’s height.
- I Can Smell You From Here has a horror premise, cannibalism, told as an awkward comedy with five endings.
- BloodMoney 2 is dark satire about a person reduced to performance numbers, with several endings, played for satire rather than scares.
- Anomalous Coffee Machine 2 is surreal and sometimes unsettling, but it never tries to frighten you.
- Sophie’s Date Night With Harlequin has no horror at all.
How to choose

- You have ten minutes You Are Hamster, in one go, since it has no save.
- You want an actual scare Tung Sahur Horror, or Five Nights At Diddy’s if you like watching cameras.
- You’ve played The Freak Circus Sophie’s Date Night With Harlequin, which is funnier if you know the original.
- You want endings to hunt I Can Smell You From Here, with five.
- You like satire BloodMoney 2, about 30 to 60 minutes.
- You just want to type strange words Anomalous Coffee Machine 2.
Before you start
Funny horror games are not kids’ games. I Can Smell You From Here lists cannibalism, body horror, sexual themes and strong language. Sophie’s Date Night With Harlequin is full of suggestive dialogue and crude jokes. Anomalous Coffee Machine 2 will brew anything you type and describe the result. You Are Hamster looks adorable but mixes sudden scares with comic violence, so set your volume first. If a joke stops being funny, close the tab; nobody here will hold it against you.
